Brad & Kelly's Salsa

Ingredients:

6 large tomatoes
1 large white onion
1 green bell pepper
1 cucumber
2 fresh jalapeno peppers
1 bunch cilantro
1 fresh cerano pepper
1 tsp minced garlic
2 tblsp lemon juice
2 tblsp lime juice
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper

Directions:

Cut the tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, and cucumber into 1/4" chunks.

Finely mince the jalapeno peppers, and cerano peppers.

Finely mince the cilantro (get rid of stems first).

Throw the veggies and the juice and spices into a BIG bowl and mix it up.

Add spices to get the taste you like.

 

Options:

Add shredded conch or scallops (cooked and chilled)

Omit the cerano pepper if you do not like spicy salsa.

 

For The Ambitious (make your own tortilla chips):

Get out your deep fryer. A turkey cooker works great. Cut corn tortilla shells into quarters. Fry for about a minute. As soon as you remove them from the grease, salt them. Throw them in a chip basket lined with paper towels to absorb some of the grease.
